On Saturday I enjoyed a race from a non-participant angle. I actually enjoyed it very much. I attended the Lake Charles adventure race in the capacity of race photographer, and coach/cheerleader for a friend. This was my first experience with an adventure race and it was very cool. The winning time was 2 hours 39 minutes. The winners were awesome:
So today after watching everyone push their selves to the limits on Sat. Chad and I did a 20 mile mountain bike ride and it felt really great to get out there and play hard. I am so happy that we share so many of the same interest. Life is good.
This blog is something about taking care of ones self. Like eating right, working out to obtain a nice healthy body, Triathlon training, Cycling, Running, and balancing that with a happy family.

Water fun day
Took a break from running, biking and training for a day on the water of skiing and boarding with some friends. So nice to be out on the water and to enjoy the rich Louisiana landscapes. Looking forward to another 5k race on Sat. and plan to set my PR. Stay tuned.
